GUIDELINE ASSESSMENT RESEARCH ARTICLES

Dear members of the list of expert peers external to the Editorial Board. Capic Review considers, in its style guidelines an attachment “Ethical Considerations and Declaration of conflict of interests” These, regarding the review process, stipulate the following:

  1. “The commitment to make a critical, honest, constructive and free of bias review of both scientific and literary quality of the articles, is assumed. Reviewers take an a contribution only if they feel competent in the subject to be seen and if there are not conflicts of interests.
  2. And about the Editor, Editorial Committee, Scientific Committee of CAPIC and , experienced external evaluator peers, it states:

            Reviewers undertake the commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of the contributions, their authors and reviewers, so the anonymity preserves intellectual integrity of the entire process. They should inform to the Editor in case of any conflict of interests that could influence their opinions about the work and to abstain from evaluating an certain contributions if deemed advisable. The reviewers should not use the content of the work to promote their own interests before their publication.

If you have any problems and/or conflict of interests with the authors, you should exclude from the review of the article.

Following is the Form for evaluation of original investigation articles; you can also add a comment or details of interest at the end of the form.

Global coherence, articulation between the elements of the article, guiding thread, and objectives pursued y and development.

5.- The article presents an adequate problematization and a theoretical or conceptual framework (richness of the contribution in the topic and whithin context; deepening of the problematic and explicit definitions of the concepts used).

6.- The article presents an adequate relevance and quality of the methodological approach (Presentation of the type of research, presentation of the population and the sampling procedures, gathering procedures, data analysis procedures, relevance of these procedures concerning the type of study ).

7.- The article includes an adequate quality of presentation of the results and of their interpretation (clarity, accuracy and rigour in the presentation and interpretation of the results, link between presentation and interpretation of the results and discussion of their impact).
